A beautiful and rare Chilean evergreen shrub, suitable for a sheltered position, with profuse fragrant golden yellow flowers in February, followed by white berries. Occasionally we propagate an even rarer variegated form, no more tender than the usual plant and very pretty. RHS Award of Merit 1934.
