I love clethras, beautiful scented racemes of white flowers in summer
reminds me of standing in a lovely old garden on a summe3rs day like Highdown or Nymans. Actually this plant originated from Borde Hill another Sussex garden many moons ago and is almost certainly a Wilson collection (for the plant nerds like me!) This one grows quite big and loose but is quite lovely....but then I would say that! Perfectly hardy and lovely bark in later years......3 LITRE STRONG PLANTS
