A very different and desirable kniphofia, always scarce, almost more reminiscent of an aloe really. Very effective in the border and makes a clump by stolons.<br> Beautiful 'energetic' flowers in hues of red to orange to yellow over a very long period up to frosts. it was hardy at Cotswold Garden Flowers in Evesham on heavy clay (if you have been there on a really cold day!) but it enjoys moisture in summer to give it's best so a light mulch is a good things.<br> Give it space, it is worth it, sells itself really....
